A Shudder Original Special: Joe Bob’s Christmas Carnage 2024

Snow is falling and the bodies are piling up for Joe Bob's Christmas Carnage, when Joe Bob and Darcy host two holiday horror flicks featuring so much bloodshed that Santa will think twice before coming down this chimney.

JOE BRIGGS PRESENTS: CHRISTMAS CARNAGE

Live on Shudder & AMC+TV
Friday, December 13th, 2024
Available on demand starting December 15th, 2024

Ho-Ho-HOLY SMOKES! The Drive-In Mutant family’s favorite holiday tradition returns with a vengeance! Grab your spiked eggnog and ceremonial viewing blanket as drive-in movie critic Joe Bob Briggs and the immutable Darcy the Mail Girl deck the halls with explosive commentary, seasonal mayhem, and enough yuletide terror to send Rudolph running for the hills.

This special double-feature edition of The Last Drive-In promises to deliver everything you’ve come to expect from our twisted winter wonderland: two full-length features guaranteed to put the “slay” in sleigh ride, Joe Bob’s signature deep-dive history lessons into the darkest corners of horror cinema, and enough bad Christmas puns to make even the elves groan.

But wait, there’s more! In what has become our most cherished holiday tradition, Joe Bob’s Christmas Carnage will once again serve as our annual charity fundraising event. Last year, our incredible Drive-In Mutant community raised a staggering $200,000 for worthy causes, proving that horror fans have the biggest hearts in showbiz. This year, we’re pulling out all the stops with an array of exclusive auction items that’ll make any horror hound’s Christmas list. Keep your eyes peeled for announcements about one-of-a-kind collectibles, rare memorabilia, and unique fan experiences that money (usually) can’t buy.

Whether you’re a longtime Drive-In Mutant or a curious newcomer, this is the perfect time to join our dysfunctional family celebration. Joe Bob and Darcy will be serving up their signature blend of horror history, behind-the-scenes tales, and the kind of commentary that makes even the most hardened horror fans see their favorite films in a whole new light.

Bring your best Christmas sweater (ugly or otherwise), your preferred holiday libations, and prepare yourself for a night of festive frights that proves sometimes the most dangerous thing coming down your chimney isn’t Santa Claus – it’s whatever unholy creation our programming department has wrapped up with a blood-red bow.

WHAT: Joe Bob’s Christmas Carnage – Holiday Double Feature
WHEN: Friday, December 13th (Live)
WHERE: Streaming on Shudder and AMC+TV
ON DEMAND: Available Sunday, December 15th
RUNTIME: Approximately 4 hours of holiday horror hijinks

Note: In true Last Drive-In tradition, movie titles will be announced immediately before or during the live broadcast. These aren’t your grandmother’s Christmas movies – unless your grandmother has seriously questionable taste in holiday entertainment. Viewer discretion is advised, and possibly encouraged.

Remember: The Drive-In will never die, but missing this show might be the death of your mutant pride. Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and prepare for the kind of Christmas celebration that would make Charles Dickens spin in his grave!
