After a deadly plague kills most of the world’s population, the remaining survivors split into two groups – one led by a benevolent elder and the other by a malevolent being – to face each other in a final battle between good and evil.

This is probably one of the best adaptions of a Stephen King novel, this series monstrous length only reflects the book’s equally humongous page count. Of course, things have been taken out, but that was unavoidable. Regardless, they add what is necessary and remove what they need to in order to not run on for longer than the mini-series format allows.
